新木場のショールームの設計。
日本中の木が集まる新木場で大量に余っていた「間伐材」を利用し、階段のようなショールームを設計した。
間伐材を立てて切っているため、必要な場合にはその間伐材を利用することもできる。

間伐材：森林の成長過程で密集化する樹木を間引く過程で発生する木材

The design of the showroom in Shin-Kiba.
In Shin-Kiba, where trees from all over Japan gather, we used a large amount of “thinning lumber” that was available and designed a showroom like a staircase.
As the thinning lumber is cut while standing, it can also be used if necessary.

Thinning lumber: Wood generated during the process of thinning out the trees that become dense in the growth process of forests.
